The world population has never had so many young people. This is the largest generation of young people the world has ever seen. Therefore, there is enormous human potential. We must believe in this generation, give them the tools to exceed themselves and do things they never thought possible.
Fully aware of the great challenges ahead, students share their vision for the African continent. They aspire to a better trained, more informed Africa that possesses more technology, innovation and citizenship.
The conclusion of a university education is always a moment of great joy and pride for young people. But doubt settles quickly: and now, what will I do with my life? I share with all these young people a little guide to help them in this turning point.
There is a new generation inspired by Africa and it is so gratifying to share this sense of belonging to the African continent. Will this energy transform our common destinies? I believe so.
Africa has the highest concentration of young people anywhere on the planet. It is essential to anticipate the expected population growth, but we can face it with hope and take a positive attitude for a positive tomorrow.
I was privileged to meet a group of young students at the University of Warwick who were truly passionate by the idea of development on the African continent. Together we shared our concerns and dreams, but most of all the commitment to ensure Africa fulfils its full potential.
